Alan Greenspan

Born March 6, 1926 in New York City, Alan Greenspan went on to become one of the most prominent and Chairman of the United States Federal Reserve Board. Greenspan earned his Master's degree in Economics in 1950 from New York University and a PhD in Economics in 1977. Greenspan is due to step down from his position in 2006. He served 5 terms. Alan Greenspan is married to Andrea Mitchell, a NBC journalist.
