Michael Dell, the founder of Dell computers, was born in Texas in 1965. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and started a computer company in his dormitory room. The company became successful enough that he dropped out at the age of 19 to run the business full-time. PC's Limited was changed to Dell Computer Corporation which went on to become one of the most successful computer businesses of our time. On March 4, 2004, Michael Dell stepped down as CEO of Dell.
