Carly Fiorina Bio

Carly Fiorina was born Cara Carleton Sneed in Austin, Texas. She attended Stanford University and Law School at University of California, Los Angeles. She dropped out of law school but later earned an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and an MS in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Carly Fiorina is best known in her role as CEO of Hewlett Packard and for pushing through a controversial merger with rival company Compaq. Her role at HP was controversial and she was eventually ousted as chairman and CEO in February of 2005.
In early September 2005, Fiorina was named a director at Revolution Health Group and in October 2005, it was announced that Fiorina would be joining the board of a Virginia-based computer security company, Cybertrust, which is among the largest information security firms in the world.
